Who we are looking for:Someone who has 2+ years commercial property experience.The ability to travel domestically will be required at timesMust have a full driver’s licenseIs a self-starter who is well organised, outgoing and enjoys problem solving to support MFT's property needs.Having strong communication skills will help you to work alongside our many stakeholders within the Mainfreight business, external parties, and contractors.Thrives in a fast paced, collaborative environment.Is a people person who enjoys working within a dynamic and tight knit team. Key functions:Facilities Management; assisting our NZ branches with repair and maintenance items and supporting the management for compliance of their buildings.Liaising with contractors and 3rd party suppliers to complete R&M and installation works across the portfolio.Lease Management; management of MFT’s NZ lease portfolio, involving the administration of the lease documents, rent reviews, outgoing schedules, and lease renewals. This will include maintaining our property software database.Budgeting, forecasting, and planning tasks with the support of Property and Finance Teams.Relationship Management; creating and building relationships with Landlords, Branch Team, internal and external Legal Counsel, General Manager’s and Country Manager.Project Management; support of fit-out projects for newly leased and built sites, including furniture, joinery, signage, equipment, and IT network.
